simpliFAX Outbound
eLynx simpliFAX Outbound extends your eLynx eDelivery service to enable you to deliver documents by fax to any fax destination. You no longer need to support different workflows for documents eDelivered through eLynx or delivered by fax. It eliminates the need to paper out electronic documents just so they can be faxed. And it reduces the cost and overhead required to support an in-house fax solution.
How It Works
With simpliFAX Outbound, when you post a document to eLynx for eDelivery, you have the option of entering a fax number as the destination. The document is uploaded to the eLynx network over a secure link and delivered to the fax number destination by eLynx. If eLynx is not able to deliver the document on the first attempt, the system will automatically attempt delivery up to two more times.
You can specify fax delivery of PCL print files and TIFF files from SwiftSend Publisher, the Send-a-File feature, from your SwiftSend Outbox (by adding a fax recipient to a document), or from eFolders. You can also send PDF files and files from your LOS or from any Windows application by printing them to SwiftSend Publisher. Sent faxes are displayed in the sender’s Outbox along with all other deliveries.
Managing Fax Deliveries
simpliFAX Outbound provides the same delivery tracking and notifications features that you enjoy with SwiftSend eDelivery from eLynx. Real-time delivery status is available in the sender’s SwiftSend Outbox and delivery notifications can be emailed to senders. This allows users to track all of their deliveries—fax and eDelivery—in the same place. Fax deliveries are also included in all transaction reports.
Mixed Destinations
eLynx is the only service that allows you to simultaneously deliver a document to a fax destination, an eDelivery recipient, and to an electronic folder on the eLynx network. When you post the document to eLynx, you can address it to one or more email addresses for eDelivery, one or more fax destination for delivery by fax, and to an eFolder. Fax destinations are billed per-page per-destination and are not included as part of the five eDelivery destinations included with the SwiftSend eDelivery charge.
