Board of Directors

The board of directors is dedicated to serving the interests of eLynx’s shareholders.  Their combined involvement in overseeing leading enterprises adds invaluable, seasoned experience to the company’s management team.


Todd Wilson – Chairman of the Board & Principal of American Capital

Todd Wilson joined American Capital in July 2002 and is a Principal in the New York office. Prior to joining American Capital, he spent three years as a Principal at Wind Point Partners, a Chicago-based LBO/private equity fund with over $1 billion under management. Mr. Wilson joined Wind Point after being awarded a Kauffman Fellowship — a private equity fellowship sponsored by the Kauffman Foundation. He has previously worked in the Investment Banking Groups of Montgomery Securities and Merrill Lynch, where he was an Associate and an Analyst respectively. He currently serves as a Director on the boards of American Capital portfolio companies eLynx, Safemark, Delstar Technologies, Ranpak, and Lifoam.

Mr. Wilson received his bachelor's degree in finance from The Wharton School of Business, and his MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.


Robert Klein – Principal and Managing Director of American Capital

Robert Klein joined American Capital in January 2002 as a Principal in the New York office and was promoted to Managing Director in 2004. He has led private equity transactions involving, in the aggregate, more than $1.3 billion. Prior to joining American Capital, he was a Principal at American Securities Capital Partners. Before that, Mr. Klein spent eight years at American Industrial Partners, where he was Managing Director. He previously worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions groups of First Boston and Morgan Stanley, where he was an Associate and an Analyst, respectively, focusing on media and telecommunications projects. Mr. Klein was also a Summer Associate for Acadia Partners, L.P., the private equity affiliate of the Robert M. Bass Group. He is a Professional Fellow of the New York University Center for Law and Business.

Mr. Klein was Phi Beta Kappa and received a BA degree summa cum laude in History of Art from Yale University. He also received a JD degree with Distinction from the Stanford University Law School.


Dustin Smith – Principal of American Capital

Dustin joined American Capital in May 2004 as an Associate in the New York office. Prior to joining American Capital, Dustin was an Associate with Mezzanine Management, a $530 million mezzanine and private equity fund specializing in growth financings for middle-market companies. Prior to Mezzanine Management, Dustin was an Analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston, where he focused on M&A transactions in the energy, consumer products and industrial sectors.

Dustin is a Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude graduate of Georgetown University with both B.S and M.S. degrees in International Relations, Economics and Business Diplomacy.


Mary C. (Molly) Baskin – American Capital Director serving on board of directors

Mare C. Basking has been a member of the American Capital board of directors since 2000 and Managing Director of the Ansley Consulting Group, a retained executive search firm, since 1999.  From 1997-1999, Ms. Baskin served as Partner for Quayle Partners, a start-up consulting firm that she helped found.  From 1996-1997, Ms. Baskin Served as Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager for Harris Trust and Savings Bank.  From 1990-1996, Ms. Baskin served as Director, Real Estate Division and Special Accounts Management Unit for the Bank of Montreal.

Ms. Baskin holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Economics from Wellesley College.


John T. LaMacchia – Director at The Kroger Company

Mr. LaMacchia was Chairman of the Board of Tellme Networks, Inc. (now a Microsoft subsidiary), a provider of voice application networks. From September 2001 through December 2004 he was also Chief Executive Officer of Tellme Networks. From October 1993 through February 1999, Mr. LaMacchia was President and Chief Executive Officer of Cincinnati Bell Inc. From May 1999 to May 2000 he was Chief Executive Officer of CellNet Data Systems, Inc., a provider of wireless data communications. He is chair of the Compensation Committee and a member of the Corporate Governance Committee at The Kroger Company.


Sharon Matthews – President & CEO

Sharon Matthews was named president and CEO of eLynx in February 2007. She is responsible to the board for all day-to-day operations and to further strengthening eLynx’s market leadership position providing secure electronic document communications services for the financial services industry. Matthews came to eLynx with more than 20 years of executive experience running profitable large technology and software companies. She has held senior executive roles at Solectron Corporation, UCMS Inc., Unisys and Wang Laboratories.

Matthews earned a bachelor of science degree in economics and politics from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia and is a graduate of the Executive Management Program at Columbia University in New York. She is an Australian citizen residing in northern California with permanent U.S. Residence.
